<p>A concept car is a car prototype introducing new ideas that is made to showcase a new vehicle&#8217;s styling, technology, and overall design before production. They are often shown at motor shows to gauge customer reaction to new and radical designs which may or may not have a chance of being produced. The purpose of this project is for teams of students to <em>imagine</em> and design a <em>vehicle</em> of the future. It has been my experience that many students read or hear the word ‘vehicle’ and automatically visualize a car. My original intent was specifically for students NOT to design a car because I wanted them <em>imagine</em> what the future of travel might be like. However, given the range of ages for high school students, designing a regular automobile can be quite challenging.<img src="http://tscallshouse.edublogs.org/files/2008/02/112_0711_06s2008_chrysler_concepts2008_chrysler_ecovoyager_concept_front.jpg" alt="112_0711_06s2008_chrysler_concepts2008_chrysler_ecovoyager_concept_front.jpg" /><img src="http://tscallshouse.edublogs.org/files/2008/02/112_0711_02s2008_chrysler_concepts2008_jeep_renegade_concept_front.jpg" alt="112_0711_02s2008_chrysler_concepts2008_jeep_renegade_concept_front.jpg" /><img src="http://tscallshouse.edublogs.org/files/2008/02/112_0711_01l2008_chrysler_concepts2008_dodger_zeo_concept_front.jpg" alt="112_0711_01l2008_chrysler_concepts2008_dodger_zeo_concept_front.jpg" /></p>
